Student Research Poster Forum – ESEM26

1. Overview

The Student Research Poster Forum is a dedicated academic platform within ESEM 2026 designed to promote student-led research, innovation, and clinical learning in Emergency Medicine.

The forum will bring together top student researchers from universities across the region and internationally, creating a structured environment for presentation, evaluation, and recognition.

2. Objectives

Encourage student participation in Emergency Medicine research

Showcase high-quality academic and clinical work

Provide students exposure to an international scientific audience

Strengthen academic collaboration with universities

Build future pipelines for Emergency Medicine professionals

3. University Nomination Model

Participation Approach
  • Invitations will be sent to Regional International University Deans
  • Each institution will be requested to:
    • Nominate 5–10 student submissions
    • Pre-screen submissions internally before submission

4. Submission Criteria

Eligibility
  • Medical students / interns / residents/Paramedics/Nursing
  • Student must be first author and presenter

  • 250–300 words

6. Review & Selection Process

Stage 1: Scientific Review

Stage 2: Final Selection
  • Accepted abstracts assigned to poster presentation category/ Student presentation Session
  • Top-scoring submissions shortlisted for awards

7. Poster Presentation Format

Session Structure
  • The Student Research Poster Forum will be held during dedicated, scheduled poster sessions within the official conference program
  • E- Posters will be displayed in a designated poster area
Presentation Format
  • Each presenter:
    • Displays E-poster onsite
    • Delivers 3–5 minute explanation
    • Engages with judges and attendees
